Limpopo police have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal stabbing that took place at a bottle store in Saselamani on Saturday, February 1.
The incident, which occurred around 3 p.m., claimed the life of a 41-year-old man after he was attacked with an unidentified sharp object.
Police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba stated that officers were called to the scene following reports of a violent attack.
Upon arrival, they found the victim lying in a pool of blood, having sustained serious wounds to his upper body. The injured man was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity, as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the murder continue.

Colonel Ledwaba confirmed that law enforcement acted swiftly, arresting the male suspect at the scene before he could flee.
