A man (39) allegedly shot and wounded a woman (39) before turning the gun on himself in Selega, Mpumalanga on Tuesday.

The shooting reportedly occurred during a heated argument between the two individuals. According to provincial police spokesperson Brigadier Donald Mdhluli, law enforcement and paramedics swiftly responded to the scene upon receiving reports of gunfire.
“Upon arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of the man, who had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The woman, who sustained a gunshot wound to her right hand, was immediately rushed to a hospital for medical treatment,” Mdhluli stated.
