The suspects, Zachariah Johannes Olivier, farm supervisor Rudolph de Wet, and farm employee William Musora, allegedly shot and killed Mariah Makgato, 47, and Kudzai Ndlovu, 34. Survivor Recounts Horrific Attack
Mabutho Ncube, Ndlovu’s husband, survived the Limpopo farm shooting and recalled the terrifying moments when the gunfire erupted. “The first shot was fired into the air. The second bullet hit me, the third struck Makgato, and the fourth hit my wife,” Ncube said. Wounded and bleeding, he struggled to reach the main road before receiving help from an associate who rushed him to a police station.
An ambulance transported Ncube to the hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery.
“As I was being transported, I saw my intestines coming out of my stomach,”
Bodies Found in Pigsty Days Later
While recovering, Ncube expected his wife to be in the hospital’s women’s ward. Days later, he learned the devastating news:
“After four or five days, I heard that their bodies had been found in the pigsty. That hurt me deeply.”
Police Investigation Concludes
Authorities completed their investigation and served the accused with an indictment. The State charged them with two counts of premeditated murder, attempted murder, possession of an unlicensed firearm, and obstruction of justice.
