Officers from the South African Police Service (SAPS) state that no suspicious activities exist regarding the deaths of three police recruits who disappeared last week before their discovery in the Hennops River of Centurion.

Officers disappeared while travelling to Limpopo
Three police constables Keamogetswe Buys (30), Boipelo Senoge (24), Cebekhulu Linda (24) disappeared on April 24 as they traveled from the Free State to Limpopo. They stopped at the petrol station before Grasmere Toll Plaza during their last reporting.
A broad search operation started after their disappearance that included drone units accompanied by SAPS divers alongside rescue teams and representatives from the cybercrime division.
The vehicle involved suffered an overthrow that occurred before colliding with the safety barrier.
First assessment evidence shows the vehicle rolled before striking the steel barrier then entered the river according to Masemola.
The evidence gathered demonstrates that the car rolled before impact and led to its final position according to the investigator.
The authorities have opened a culpable homicide investigation while continuing their investigations.
Forensics and autopsies will provide more clarity
Masemola stated that medical examination results will establish the nature of injuries but no gunshot residue was visible nor was there evidence of foul play at the river crash scene.
Investigators of Hennops River report no evidence of gunfire to prove a shooting occurred. The investigator stated to media personnel that autopsy results should be examined first before making any conclusions.
