Intelligence Operation Triggers Pursuit
On May 9, 2025, the Provincial Organised Crime Unit received intelligence about drug activity in Mokopane. As a result, officers launched a targeted operation.
They identified the suspect driving a white Volkswagen Polo TSI registered in Limpopo. When police spotted the vehicle along Thabo Mbeki Street, they immediately tried to stop him.
However, the suspect noticed the officers and sped off. Consequently, this triggered a brief but dangerous high-speed chase through the area.
