Breakthrough in Olorato Mongale Murder Case

Officials looked at the vehicle at a panel beater workshop located in Phoenix, Durban. A drop of blood inside the car made the inspectors work even faster.

Cops detected blood evidence from the Audi on the road where the crime took place

Intelligence led the police from the suspects’ lodge in Kew, Johannesburg to their hideout in KwaMashu, Durban, according to SAPS national spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe.

Solid information from the task team allowed them to identify the suspects. A workshop found the white Volkswagen Polo that police believe was driven by the people picking up Mongale on the day she disappeared, according to Mathe.

Philangenkosi Makhanya and Fezile Ngubane are wanted in the Olorato Mongale murder case

Although a man who is thought to own the vehicle has been taken into custody, police are still looking for Fezile Ngubane and Philangenkosi Sibongokuhle Makhanya, who investigators suspect took part in the murder.

These two men are thought to be especially dangerous. All information received confirms that the public should not approach them no matter what, Mathe said.
