Four Prisoners Escape Limpopo Custody, Police Launch Manhunt

Limpopo police started an official search for four awaiting-trial prisoners who escaped from jail custody at Northam in Waterberg District when early morning came.

Escapees linked to infrastructure tampering case

Colonel Malesela Ledwaba confirmed that the absconded criminals maintained their arrest from July 2024 following their charge of destroying crucial infrastructure despite being foreign nationals.

During the early morning of 4:30 a.m. officers detected a loud thunderous noise before discovering cells with forced entry points.

The escapees are identified as:
– Knowledge Dhambuza, 36
– Limited Dhambuza, 25
– Eric Zion Nechikhovele, 39
– Joao Chauke, 27

Crime Stop at 08600 10111 and Warrant Officer Temane at 082 934 6275 or Captain Du Plessis at 082 565 7611 are available to receive public reports of the suspects.
